Just Walk

Hi, everyone! I am so, so sorry I haven't been writing. I guess I kinda forgot. Anywhoo, let's cut to the chase. The other day, Mama made me a sign that said, "Just Walk. Every step is marked for you." I hung it right up on my wall. This morning, while in my room, I stared at those words for a long time. I realized just how true the words were. God truly has marked out the path of our life! We don't need to worry, because God is always there, making a way. So, from now on, just walk. Don't worry about tomorrow. Just walk.

The Beach

Hi everyone!!! I'm so sorry I haven't been posting. I moved to Georgia and I've been getting used to being in a new place and all. Anyway, last week we went to the beach on Little Talbot Island and let me just say,I love the beach!!!! Mama and I took a walk along the beach, looking for seashells. I picked up a lot of broken or lumpy ones. Mama asked ,"Why do you like those shells?" I thought for a minute and then I said,"I think I like them because they're imperfect, like me.They try hard to be perfect,but they're not.I try to be perfect and do everything right, but I can't."Afterwards , I got to thinking how amazing it is that even though I'm not perfect, God loves me for who I am and He's working on me everyday. Lately it's occurred to me how much God loves everybody on Earth, even the ones who don't love Him back. So sometime today, take the time to think about this. Smile, God loves you!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Hi Everyone! Sorry I haven't been able to post for a few days.Just been busy,with homework and all. Anyway, Happy Valentine's Day!!!! I've always been a Valentine's Day kinda girl, so I'm excited. Caught up in the excitement of it all, I started to think about something,and that led me to today's post. See, Valentine's Day is all about love and being with the ones that you love. But no matter how much my mama loves me, or how much my nanny loves me, or how much everyone in my family(and I have a BIG family) put together loves me,God still loves me more. It's amazing how even if I make a bazillion mistakes in my life,He will always love me,no matter how often I forget to love Him. Try to remember to love Him this Valentine's Day. And it's not all that astonishing to see that everyone in my family loves me because,as my mama says to me a LOT,"What's not to love?" Happy Valentine's Day everybody!

Snowflakes

This is the most wonderful day in my whole entire life!!! My science teacher did an experiment and we had to wear goggles, I got out of school early, and best of all, it snowed!!!!!!!!! It looked so pretty,falling to the ground. It made me think about a poem I read once that was all about how each snowflake was different from the rest.It got me thinking about how God made us all different and how he much he loved us for being different.I hope everyone knows how much He loves them and that he's working on us all the time! God loves you and don't you forget it!!!

Happiness

This week has been wonderful for me. I was the only person in my class that made 100 on the writing assignment, I have all my Accelerated Reader points, and I didn't have to rewrite my descriptive paper! I'm so excited! As I rode the bus home this afternoon, I thought about how happy I've been and thanked God for this week of blessings. When I got home from school today, little Chloe grinned that cute little smile and said,"Hi Sissy!" I scooped her up and we went to watch T.V. I remembered her smiling and wondered just how much she loved me. Later, when she walked up to me and threw those little arms around me, I knew that she loved me more than I could ever imagine. But not even my sweet little sister loves me more than God. I am committed to making Him a part of my day and try to read my Bible every night. But like all human beings, I can forget that. ;) I know that even though I forget Him sometimes, He will never forget me. And that makes me the happiest of all!
